IDEN - Investment Data Exchange Network
North America — Inaugural Session 2026

Working Group Registration & Event Feedback

Thank you for joining us at the inaugural IDEN North America session, hosted by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Please register your interest in IDEN working groups and share any feedback on the session.

IDEN is establishing working groups to advance key initiatives. Select any groups you or your organisation would be interested in participating in.

1. Building trusted data foundations for AI-driven client intelligence
As distribution tools become AI-driven, the quality and governance of underlying data becomes critical. Should we develop AI-ready data standards for distribution use cases as an industry?
2. Extending client data models to capture private markets & alternatives
Legacy data structures don't work for private markets. As these products scale into wealth distribution, should we develop industry standards to manage and integrate this data effectively?
3. Adapting distribution data infrastructure for new vehicle types & P2P data sharing
Active ETFs, model portfolios, and SMAs/UMAs don't map to legacy data models. New standards are needed to manage relationships, fees, and compensation across these structures.
4. Normalising complex and non-linear fee data across the value chain
Tiered fees, performance fees, rebates, and bespoke arrangements make revenue attribution increasingly difficult. Should we establish common frameworks for managing and standardising fee data?
5. Standardising transfer agent data models and structures
Every transfer agent delivers data in a different format and structure, with each often being bespoke to individual investment managers. Should we work towards a common industry data model for TA-sourced data to reduce reconciliation burden and enable consistent downstream consumption?

The purpose of IDEN is to ensure we come together and tackle industry data challenges together. Are there other initiatives or working groups we should be considering?
